Ongoing Training

The rationale for investing in training is to increase sales productivity as a result of the training. Research from The American Society of Training & Development and the Sales Executive Council demonstrates that this is a realistic and attainable outcome IF training is reinforced. In fact, that research found that a gain of 22% in productivity metrics was achieved by companies that did a good job with reinforcement. This required ongoing skills practice to promote the development of new skills. It also required continued skills development through training that was logically sequenced and consistent with other programs offered.

To develop intermediate and advanced selling skills for media reps, People First builds on the Launch program through the Expedition Series. Launch equips sales reps with fundamental selling skills and broad media knowledge. Orbit offers advanced training in needs-based solution selling while also building category knowledge for reps serving specific categories. Journey completes the series with high level skills in negotiation and competitive media.
