Management Training

In addition to offering a comprehensive suite of management training programs including the Expedition Series for Managers, People First Productivity Solutions also consults with organizations to maximize the effectiveness of the management team. Services include:

  • Shadowing managers to assess style, team and customer interaction, time management, core skills, strengths, and opportunities for development. Coaching plans are developed to help managers attain peak performance.
  • Shadow consulting to help senior managers who struggle with credibility or are in the process of reinventing themselves. People First consultants work with these managers on communication strategies, decision making, planning effective meetings, developing a vision and gaining buy in, building teams, and gaining support through collaboration.
  • Coaching management teams or coaching managers one-on-one for skills development in conjunction with People First training. For example, managers using the Selecting Top Talent process for the first time may benefit from a consultant sitting in on interviews.
  • Working with the management team to align sales productivity drivers and communicate about goal setting, commission plan changes, new products and sales initiatives, and other sensitive subjects.
  • Leading managers in an interim capacity when key positions are open. Because our consultants have experience in these roles, they bring instant credibility and ability to lead sales organizations.
  • Training of training managers in adult learning principles, facilitation skills, instructional design and leading change through training. Many People First training programs have optional support materials and train-the-trainer sessions available.
